Millau en Jazz off the festival

Since its creation fifteen years ago, Millau en Jazz has remained a summer event.
As an association we do work on it throughout the year, but the festival essentially takes place over 8 days in July.
Drawing from its experience, the association wants to invest itself into an ambitious project, which could fit amongst regional dynamics.

The project hinges around five axis :
Guaranteeing Millau and the rest of the Grands Causses regional nature Park territory a permanent presence of jazz and contemporary musics.
Setting up every year, from October to May, a program that shall support the discovery of emerging artists and the production of innovative shows.
Introducing young audience to jazz and contemporary musics.
Valuing creation, developing the concept of "resident" artists.
Making the festival last.

This evolution is indispensable to the Millau en Jazz association because musics, those programmers who defend them, the territory and the audience evolve. What remains is that the organizing team (past and future) do not program for animation's sake but for the promotion of values they are attached to.
So as a conclusion we wish to remind you of those values underpinning all their actions:

- To offer the audience and musicians such a warm effervescence that never concerts be restricted to a trade-off.
- To breath our passion in and out, and to catalyze all of the programming through this "internal tempo".
- To create emotion, sometimes exaltation, so that the last note of each concert never really fades out.
